PACT intends to open Community Clinics in rural districts in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. These Community Clinics will largely cater to the rehabilitation needs of children and adults with disabilities in nearby areas free of cost on a case to case basis.
The services at the Rural Community Clinics will include:
- Pain management
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Free physiotherapy for domestic workers and daily wage workers
- Free consultation on basic health needs
- Counseling for carers of persons with disability
This is an initiative to optimally use our workforces in rehabilitating children who are Orphaned, Abandoned, or Surrendered (OAS) with special needs( CwSN) which is our core focus closer to the Child care institutes, Special adoption agencies or foster care homes
This is also an entirely a free service to the rural community people who would not be affordable to pay and avail allied health services from the urban centers. This initiative is on hold due to COVID crisis
Please get in touch if you are interested to fund a rural clinic that would cater OAS CwSN and the rural population. If you are a person who always tries to be a changemaker for a dire need, you can opt for this.
