PACT offers teleconsultation services to Child Care Institutes (CCI) to support OAS children with special needs. The pandemic must not stop the delivery of essential services to these children who need daily therapy and practices to enhance their capabilities.
The teleconsultations are also meant to help CCIs prepare for COVID – prevention and management. On 13 January 2022, the first training was conducted to get the teleconsultation and hotline services started for CCIs to receive guidance on fighting the current outbreak of COVID. The training, conducted in partnership with KSICPS and MFS Doctors without Borders, was attended by 150 people including DCPOs, CCI superintendents, and other stakeholders.
PACT will support and anchor the toll-free platform which has been created to track and report the health of children at CCIs to KSICPS. This will improve the health-seeking behaviour of the children and their caregivers in the future.
